Freehackers Montreal (aka YULhackers) is a self-organized monthly meetup of like minded hackers, makers, and creators from a wide range of backgrounds. Anyone can join so long as they come ready to create art, wires, or code. Originally inspired by Zed Shaw of Ruby/Mongrel fame, YULhackers has taken on a distinct, Montreal inspired, style of its own.
